A site inspired/specific performance
Performed on January 27, 2024 at noon at Green Space Miami.
A collaboration between artists Xiomara Forbez (installation artist) and Hattie Mae Williams (choreographer). Hattie Mae Williams created a dance piece inspired by the Lost and Held installation at Green Space Miami. She performed outside of the gallery and then brought the installation back inside the gallery and finished the performance inside.
Music includes Radiohead's Present Tense (instrumental) and James Baldwin's Precious Lord, Take My Hand, and an excerpt from James Baldwin's The Artist's Struggle for Integrity.
